Beginner Polo
Beginner Polo is offered year-round to players (ages 8-14) at various pools throughout Santa Cruz County. This fun recreational program is designed to help young athletes learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive, team environment. Players will develop essential individual skills such as treading water, passing, shooting, and basic game strategy. With a focus on confidence-building, players will get some introductory scrimmage opportunities where they can practice their skills and learn the rules in a welcoming game-like setting.
This program provides the perfect foundation for moving into more competitive play and as players improve, they will be invited to advance to our intro-to-comp program or a competition team.
